Description:

It is possible to extend the number of interfaces for the vRouter (in the VM). Thereby some peculiarities have to be considered when a vRouter is operated in the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC).

Subsequent extension of interfaces of a vRouter in the LMC:

If a vRouter is already connected to the LMC and the number of interfaces is changed subsequently, afterwards the configuration cannot be rolled out to the vRouter via the LMC. In this case, the affected vRouter has to be removed from the LMC and has to be newly integrated.

Preconfiguration of a vRouter in the LMC:

The LMC has a template for a default configuration with a fixed number of interfaces for the vRouter. Therefore a preconfiguration can only be created with this default configuration. A preconfiguration with a deviating number of interfaces is not possible.

Default number of interfaces for a vRouter:

The vRouter deployment wizard creates two interfaces in the default configuration.
